  • I Don't Have Enough Faith to Be an Atheist

This book is an excellent read. Very humourous and provides a wide variety of arguments and responses, examples and real strories. An excellent introduction to evidential apologetics.
  • Mere Christianity

    A classic by C. S. Lewis

  • Faith & Reason: Searching for a Rational Faith

This excellent book by Ron Nash is not for beginners. It is one of the text books for his Christian Apologetics course delivered to his seminary students a few years ago (see audio lectures here).

  • Love Your God With All Your Mind: The Role of Reason in the Life of the Soul

An excellent book by J. P. Moreland. This book encourages Christians to regain a love of the mind in Christianity and provides many resources to get you started. Some have suggested Moreland may be the leading contemporary Christian apologist and this book reflects that. Check the Veritas audio links on the Audio/Video/MP3 page for some excellent free downloadable audio lectures by J. P. Moreland.

  • Defending Your Faith: An Introduction to Apologetics

A very nice clear introduction to evidential apologetics by R. C. Sproul.
